For 5-. 6-, 7-, and 8-speed derailleur bikes (all of which use 1/2 x 3/32 chain, choose Connex’s 8s0, 808, 8sB or 8sX chains) The 7E8 does not flex laterally, so it cannot be used for derailleur bikes. 7E8 is made for bikes with INTERNAL 7-speed hubs that require a 1/2 x 3.32 chain. This is a super heavy duty chain. Nickel reinforced inner and outer plates transfer torque produced by the e-drive loss-free.
